Oltre i mulini…

🇮🇹 Zaanse Schans è la tappa doverosa per poter ammirare i veri mulini a vento della tradizione olandese, ma vogliamo condividere anche altri dettagli interessanti di questo delizioso paesino caratteristico.

🇬🇧 Zaanse Schans is the dutiful stop to admire the real windmills of the Dutch tradition, but we want to share other interesting details of this lovely village .

🇮🇹 Per prima cosa iniziamo con la solita carica mattutina di energie: tappa alla boulangerie De Wijn (non lontano dalla stazione) per assaggiare i migliori oliebollen di sempre e altre specialità tipiche a prezzi tra l’altro decisamente vantaggiosi rispetto alle boulangerie del centro!

🇬🇧 The first thing to do is the usual morning charge of energy: stop at the boulangerie De Wijn (not far from the station) to taste the best oliebollen ever and other specialties, moreover very cheaper then the boulangeries in the city center!

🇮🇹Poi si parte controvento verso i magici mulini. Tra un ponticello e l’altro si può:

🇬🇧 Then let’s go upwind towards the magical mills. Between a bridge and other one you can:

🇮🇹 Acquistare un oggetto vintage da Trash & Treasures. Piccolo negozio di oggetti vintage autentici di ogni tipo all’interno della casa più antica di tutto il villaggio!

🇮🇹 Assaggiare una bella gaufre fumante nel Bakery museum e acquistare altri dolci souvenir.

🇮🇹 Addirittura soggiornare in un caratteristico B&B.

🇮🇹Terminata la visita proseguite la passeggiata verso la restante parte del paesino! Le casine in vecchio stile affacciate sul porto sono meravigliose e ognuna unica nel suo genere.

🇬🇧 After the visit continue the walk to the rest of the village! The small houses in old style overlooking the harbor are wonderful and each one unique.

🇮🇹 E infine, prima di rientrare ad Amsterdam, non potevamo perderci il folle Inntel Hotel. Basta scendere a Zaandam, stazione intermedia tra Amsterdam e Zaanse Schans (a circa una decina di minuti da entrambe) e fare pochi passi per trovarsi davanti a questo insolito e imponente hotel supermoderno che sembra un gigante condominio di casine tipiche olandesi. E’ difficile descriverlo, ammiratelo nelle nostre foto!

🇬🇧 And finally, before come back to Amsterdam, we couldn’t lose the crazy Inntel Hotel. Just get off at Zaandam, station between Amsterdam and the Zaanse Schans (about ten minutes from both) and take a few steps to find yourself in front of this unusual and impressive ultramodern hotel that looks like a giant building of small typical Dutch houses. It’s hard to describe, Admire it in our photos!
